But why a GM 4 banger when a m42 or something would’ve fit just as well?

Swap logic is beyond me but maybe because more HP and TQ in the 2.4l LE5 versus the 1.8l in the m42?

Wonder if it's this guy? http://www.ecotecpower.com/forums/read.php?f=4&t=7838&a=2&arch=1

That's my buddy Alex's. I'd buy it if it were cheaper, but yeah, $9k isn't a great deal.

                  Apparently it's already sold.

Ecotec is fairly common with miatas. People like that they make 200whp right out of the box in stock configuration

I like them as boat anchors

Besides the car almost overheating while the ants took the miniature pictures, I would like to note some cringe worthy statements:

                          "2.8 Lite V6"

"She did not choose the largest motor pkg. because she is not interested
in driving it hard or fast"

"she was not interested in any kind of high performance equipment or fast driving"

"Tires are in fair shape but will need to be replaced"

"The 328is in the M package was considered one of the best handling sports cars of all vehicles made in 1999 and for the next
                          decade or more"

I saw that this morning. If that car was even remotely local, I'd be taking the day off work.

I was accessing it on mobile, turns out I wasn't in the group that it's in. Man do I wish that was even remotely nearby

Seems like his son is in the military and that's why he is selling it. Hell the motor in that thing is worth as much as he is asking. Has under 100k miles. I bet that thing is rust free too. 😕 It's a really nice build if it was anywhere under 15 hours away my dad and I would be on the road already.

I hate seeing good deals on cars when I'm at school and only have enough money to buy a bean burrito from Taco Bell
