Differential rebuilding service
-
Cool, sounds like some pretty good interest. I'll look into it over the weekend and come up with a pricing structure for the different options.
-
Added pricing to the OP. I'm just guessing on my labor costs, let me know what you think.
-
The prices seem just right to me. Diff service is never cheap but with those prices I wouldn't hesitate to make a move on getting diff stuff done. Mine is good for now but when it comes time for rebuild I know who to check with. the price of an accurate indicator and stands is enough to not setup the lash myself.
-
I think that pricing looks great, I'd be interested in a medium case 'standard' rebuild in the next month or two.
Out of curiosity, on the standard rebuild, would you check the pinion and carrier bearing preload?
Sounds good, let me know when you're ready. Absolutely, I set the rolling torque for the pinion and the carrier bearings.

Awesome! I'll keep you posted. Any idea what your turn-around time would be?
-
I'll order the parts when I'm given money, then for the standard rebuild probably a weekend to disassemble/clean and a weekend to assemble. My work schedule might throw a wrench in things here and there but I should be able to get it back to you fairly quickly.

Should come up with a super cool way to reuse packaging - some sort of crate. So diffs don’t get exploded by the shipping company

some sort of crate.
My trunk will be the only crate diffs are getting shipped in by me from now on...

Im also interested in this. Would you be interested in working out a trade deal and or cash If I were to give you a spare 4.10 VLSD @TehRaydarlover?
-
Not really, I already have at least 2 spares somewhere in the garage. ...I guess for the right price I could add another to the pile haha.
-
Ray where are you located again?
-
Waukesha, WI. I'm actually going to be in MN in two weeks if you would like to meet up in Tomah again.
