    Yep,

1 year in Trinidad & Tobago

    6 months in Barbados

    5 months in Antigua

    4 months in rural Guyana

3 weeks before I came home I nearly caught a bullet with my head. Bullets make quite an interesting sound when they fly that close to your ears.

Had some pretty interesting experiences there for sure

Image result for it's alive gif

Installed the distributor and timed the engine last night. Took it for a drive immediately. HOLY SHeeeet. Feels like a completely different car. Smoother RPM range, Smoovvvver idle, all the things more better. Now I can get back to the business of attaching novelty items to the car to make it more "Phuturistc"!

I also installed a NOS vintage(1972 bought by my Dad in 1973) Sun tachometer because V8 and the digital one on the dash is impossible to read.

It fit perfect with slight "modification" to the cluster. 😆

More Burnout videos to come. Next super important task is to weld the diff and finally install the handbrake.

Yeah its really sweet. I wasnt going to use it if it was collectible, but its turns out its really not and you can still buy them new. I have an install video thats hilarious. Alcohol and a 4" hole saw straight to the gauge cluster is always a good time.

Paxton is a brand of supercharger developed by Bill Paxton of "Twister" cinema fame.

The knowledge he gained from studying cyclones for his movie role combined with the successful deployment of the Dorothy measurement probes into the eye of an F5 tornado provided him with enough data to eventually pursue the development of the Paxton line of superchargers.

I like that out of everything you wrote, only about 6 words in the first sentence were true.

                          Did some thangs.

Tried to do burnouts in the shop, failed because the floor is too slick. (see videos)

                          • Doing so I also mashed the brakes and discovered that the brake fluid reservoir was leaking allowing air into the lines. Good and easy fix even though I need to add the handbrake.

I also bought some wheel spacers and a Renown steering wheel from Earl.

                          • Spacers worked great
                          • Steering wheel needs to be closer to me yet

Anyone know where I can get lexan windows, or if I will make it past tech inspection with that smashed window??

"That Mess" is from a well placed hood without hood struts prior to my ownership. I figured most places dont care because drift cars get smashed, but you never know.

Also- condor only sells side windows.  I am looking for front and rear Lexan. Probably making it myself...http://targamiata.com/tags.php?tag=lexan window

why on earth would you do a lexan windshield? buy a used windshield for $100. a sheet of lexan probably costs the same.  save yourself the time and possible throat slashing in an accident.

yeah, poly is stronger than glass, but, when it breaks you get shards. maybe the break threshold is so high that an accident that bad would kill you anyways, but i'm not an expert so I'd err on 'better not find out.'
