Hey guys...  Just wanted to report some great results with a local rim repair outfit based in Manitowoc.  Repaired a pretty badly bent HRE track rim back to almost perfect.  Great work, super nice guy, and good pricing too....

The company's name is Wheelcraft, and the owners name is Tyler Brennan.

    Cheers,

    Scott

Nice - any idea if they repair curb rash or gouging?

If you don't mind sharing, what was the cost of having a wheel straightened by them? I have a pair of wheels that are slightly bent that I am considering fixing.

Yes they do.  He can basically repair, refinish, or straighten just about any rim you can bring him. And again, his work is really good.....

The HRE rim I brought him was bent pretty badly, and I know he had to work on it for an extended amount of time. It cost me $125.....

Is $125 a base price? I have to ask as I was quoted $125 per wheel from a different guy when my wheels had very VERY minor damage. I just ended up buying new barrels as it was $25 more than the repair.

Do you have any before and after pictures?

Case dependent. He quoted me 200 a wheel to get them completely refinished (3pc). That includes two wheels that need bend repair and welding. But that is sending them out as he couldn't accommodate in house.
