I just read through the interview. It was horrible. It would be like interviewing me about a surgical procedure "they put something in the guy, took another thing out and got a napkin"

Wanting to see the talent of Baldessari in his preferred mediums sent me to google images.

            e51ff560beab8ddd2280f3ee014478c5.png

It appears his "thing" is dots of primary colors. This explains a lot.

Im sure some observers could stare for hours analyzing the beauty and genius of a few dots. I just have a problem with Art that can be done in a matter of minutes.

            Simple can still be awesome

The livery they had this past season was better than this crap.

This dude is just like "hopefully no one calls me out on the dot thing."

That balldressing guy should stick to what he knows best

Probably how he "designed" that car too. Through some magnetic dots at it and whatever stuck he just was like "yeah fuck it, whatever"

Although not all the art cars appeal to me, this one is just plain stupid.  I hope they didn't pay the guy a lot to do it.  Agree with OP, looks like some kid did it on Forza.

at least we know it took the artist many hours to draw the pile of garbage. baldesarri sent his design to FedEx Office by lunch time on the first day, and they had his vinyl prints done for him to pick up after he stopped at walgreens to grab his prescription of stupid pills.

                                It's the kinkos car.

Holy crap Dan you're onto something.

FAST is a marketing ploy for FedEx.

I'm questioning everything on the internet right now

I never understood "fine artists" when I was in college (I went to art school) and this topic is proof that hardly anyone else does either. I hope that "art car" drives "FAST" of a cliff.

With that beings said, I must say it is working. Its making its rounds as controversial and that's the whole point isn't it?
