I'm shooting for 8K as my project budget. But there is a s54 on r3v for sale, guy lives in Milwaukee.

Low miles, complete turn key into an e30 for 9k. Everything included to put in an e30!

But I think that's a little expensive still. S52 is the way to go, few years from now it'll be the other way around.

I bought me e36 from him. His sn is frnthvy or something close on wibimmers. Lives up in Germantown. Very good, honest guy.

Does anyone here know anything about filtering oil down to 1 micron? I'm having a hell of a time finding a cheap filtering system...

I work with a guy who runs a half tank of waste oil in his mk5 jetta:) he said it works good.
