Driveshaft Shortening

I am looking for somewhere to shorten the driveshaft of my 1991 318is.
Buying new is $600-700 and making it myself without the proper tools is risky.
Does anyone know any shops that do driveshaft work? Or does anyone have a fixed scribe I can use to make sure the alignment came up straight if I try to do it myself?

What do you have in the works?! There is a shop up here in Appleton that works with driveshafts and may be able to help you out. I can dig up their number if you would like.
