I was thinking more and more about trying to make my stock bottle caps into three piece wheels. if there is someone who can help me out with this I would appreciate it.

I can get tires taken off for free and my bottle caps are sitting on someone else's Project car. im going to get one wheel and have the tire removed. I kind of want to just see what it will look like and experiment with it before I commit to all five bottle caps.

I was thinking 16 in bbs barrels. I was talking to earl and he said that the 16s use a 14" face and the bottle caps are 14" I'm going to ask a friend to see if he has any bbs rs faces that I can use to get some solid measurements from. if he has some, ill draw them up in CAD on my lunch break just so I have a legitimate drawing to take the measurements from.

I contacted a specialist in BBS RS wheels asking him what the faces would need to be machined to and he said that the faces of the bottle caps need to be
"12.25 inch
that's what your CB on the lips needs to be. 34 hole
the faces need to be 1/2" thick."

let me know what you come up with. im going to try and find a lip and barrel so we can line everything up.

There is a set of 16" rs's and lips for sale here for 100$ Thus my recent motivation. Haha
I messaged the guy today. I saw how cool the bottle caps looked as three piece and I was like insta boner I want some. hahaha

I finally go my wheels back from my friend so now I need to take the tires off and then I can start getting every rolling. are you still willing to machine the wheels for me rowleym? I would appreciate it if ya did.

I have a couple sets of bottle caps as well, but I don't really want to just get the tires removed, but if you have some way to do so I will be down to machine them whenever!
