I think it looks great! The camera angle and perspective change due to zoom (for lack of proper photography terminology) can make dumb cars look good in pictures or cool cars look dumb

I appreciate the kind words. Its just not how I want my car to look, and not being in a financially fit position to make it so bothers me (I probably could make it how I want but my dad is already upset about how much money I've spent this year on it, will see what happens).

@snap, there are very few angles that this car looks good from right now. The main one being in person. I know thats a lame excuse, but the perspective in the pictures really exploits how bad the stance is. In person, it looks better (as lame as that sounds).

I would replace it with a dynavin if it wasnt $600. It does an alright job, but I definitely can see why people hate it

And I would replace it with an aftermarket deck if they didnt look absolutely hideous in these cars. I've never seen one framed properly to make it look OEM.

The trim looks gorgeous man!  The car is going to get where you want it but slow down and enjoy the process right now.

I like it!  Keep it clean, keep up the maintenance, keep searching for lightly used parts on the forums.

Thanks dude! I like keeping up with maintenance, I like having the peace of mind. Its not completely sound as of the moment, but I've taken care some of the the things that needed the immediate attention. Hope to continue replacing things through out the year!

I'm tempted to cut a coil in the front...

Attempted to do the brakes tonight. Got the passenger side done, but the driver side caliper wasnt compressing the full way so I couldnt slide the caliper over the rotor. Probably gonna have to rebuild as the boot looks to be messed up, the passenger side one looked in a lot better condition

That road salt just messes everything up, hopefully the piston isn't pitted badly.  A rebuild kit is pretty cheap.

I'd say those puppies are toast. No symptoms of a sticking caliper or anything though, they did put up a fight trying to get off the rotor, on the driver side only.

Yep, good call on a reman, doubtful to save that.  Use plenty of brake grease on everything when reassembling.

This caliper had the bracket attached to it. It has BMW engraved on the caliper, was just not expecting it to be all one piece. Got them bleed and all buttoned up, shes good to go

Just reading about doing the subframe and diff bushings has me seriously dreading doing it. Sounds like such a PITA. But it really has to be done, and when they are I feel like the car will feel completely different. Then I can finally stop worrying as well.
