I'm looking to get the lower front and rear bumper trims of my brilliantrot E34 painted. It's a 1991 so it has the black plastic lowers. Have painted mtech side skirts already. Body/paint work is intimidating to me, so any tips on how to go about it myself or suggestions for a quality and affordable shop would be great.

i'd get it done professionally.  i've done lots of DIY painting, and no paint job I've mustered has held up to the barage of rock chips the front of a car recieves.  for other parts of the car DIY is fine, but it just doesnt hold up in the front.
