For $3-$4k I would buy it based on the potential. It's a low mileage e36 with a widebody. With different wheels and a decent rear bumper and that wing eliminated it could be a decent car. This guy is out of his mind to ask $31k though!!!

That sounds like my cup of tea. Any new touring models that you would daily? Or just newer BMW daily's around 10-15.

but yes they are real! A badger bimmers member had one at the Concours show two years ago, believe it was a teal color. Very cool car.
