How are you liking the car? Id really like to snag a 540i as a replacement for my camry but will likely end up with something that can make a decent home depot run every now and then
I love my car thus far; the engine is smooth; love the 6 speed manual. heated seats and steering wheel. room for 4 golf bags in the back. while still being relatively quick! And not having quite the maintenance issues/cost of the later VANOS models or the M5
If you call 0-60 in around 5.8 seconds slow then yeah. My 540 still poops on plenty of mustangs
Fine, not fast At least my car doesn't seem quick. I wouldn't mind riding/driving in your car at some point. There is a distinct chance I have cats that are beginning to clog, which would obviously kill mileage and power.
Thanks I agree! I think im going to grab some eibachs soon. however putting on lowering springs is a bitch for e39s. got to remove the back seat and such.
I wouldn't even bother with lowering springs. They're just not worth it. You should be able to get a nice affordable set of coilovers for relatively cheap.
Debating about blacking out the emblem since I don't really want to debadge. Thoughts?
