whats all this talk of melted shoes

if it ever stops pouring i will find the shoes. when i was taking the gas tank out i didnt know the tank was full.it spilled probly about 2-3 gallons of gas out. my shoes where melting and getting all gooy leaving black shoe prints.

well today i finished painting the drive shaft i picked up,the subframe,trailing arms, sway bar,etc.
i finally get to use the solid subrame mounts i machined almost a year ago. replaced all the bushings and wheel bearings in all these parts. bushings  have also been sitting for about a year now too.Â

all the time, btw, what were you shoes made out of that they melted when gas hit them? salt?
