My flywheel is from an m20! Supposedly a single mass from an e. I'll try to find it.. Thanks for the site though!

Did you get the back side of the flywheel machined down for proper fitment? What clutch are you using?

Yes, use REALOEM.com, just make sure to click "archive' to find e30 stuff

Does this look like not enough room?

Looks like your flywheel may be off to the machine shop for some more material removal and balancing.

Some ebay clutches are actully decent. Especially for the price. I know XTD makes a decent clutch for the price. Just because something is sold on ebay, doesn't mean it is junk. Look at Condor Speed Shop.

Thank you sir. I did my research on this and a ton of people are running F1 clutchs on bmw's with success. The only downside I have seen is clutch chatter, which I could care less about.

Flywheel bolts are TTY (torque to yield) and need to be replaced each time they are torqued to spec then removed. Sure, you can re-use them, but if they back out 500 miles after everything is back together then it would be incredibly annoying to have to do the job over, while risking damage to the transmission from a loose clutch assembly/flywheel flailing about within the confines of the bellhousing.

Had a real night day today. Taking the flywheel to the machine shop tomorrow hopefully, and getting the back shaved

Down and hopefully lightened a bit.

                                          Ripped the dash out.

                                          8A70C9A2-1947-40AE-9A22-98499205441F-106

Anyone have a hint for getting the fuse box through/getting the wiring out some how?

                                          523F6571-711B-4B67-8B40-28F3DDAAD483-106

When we tore the carpet out we found some rust. I will be cutting basically that whole piece out and welding in a new sheet.

Anyone have opinions on a dash? What about fitting a couple bent street signs and mounting them and putting the stock gauges and stuff back in?

That is all till Saturday probably.
