The size is what makes those costs so low. There are so many iterations of RS's. There are a ton of rare versions out there in certain offsets, bolt patterns, and sizes. When you think of the price of those wheels new, it all makes sense. For a quality set of brand new multipiece wheels, you're looking at $4,000 plus. I'm not letting my Breytons go for any less than $2,000 once they're built. It is how the quality wheel game works. It's not cheap to roll hard.

I know size is is the most part. And I know a set of new 3 piece rims cost $4,000! I've looked into Rotiforms numerous times. And cried a little everytime I got my quote for my 17x10.5" +5  offset, set of rims...

DO NOT GO THROUGH ROTIFORM FOR ANYTHING!!! People have been having nothing but issues with cracking lips and barrels the past month or so.

It would be nice to find a set not bent like what is on the car or at least 3 of them. But don't see any and don't want to spend $175 each rim. Found some for $250 but they are 20mm offset so that will be a problem I believe I need 40-50mm offset or something.

What kind of rims are you looking for? Also, what is the current rim size/offset on you car? Earl and I are pretty much the wheel guru's on this forum I think

Rims that are aluminum have to be 17" and cheap. I believe they are 40 or 47 mm offset. there for e46 330xi. If they fit and are 17" that works for me. Can't be smaller the caliper is really close to the rim with 17's and I have new tires on garbage rims so I want to stick with the same size rim.

Too bad.. Cause I have a set of rims and tires that' i'd let go for cheap. Came off TJ's E46 touring. 16x7 +47 offset. I almost guarantee they'd fit your car.

one has a slow leak( not bad at all) LMK if you might be interested, I know they're not what you're looking for. But hey, they'd atleast let you drive the car around.

Wish they where 17". I know 16's won't fit just because the tip of my finger barely fits between caliper and rim

It all depends on the width of the wheel. You can fit a 17x8 et0 if you want. E46s have insane amounts of room in the fenders.

So you think the 17's I found with the 20mm offset will fit?

Yes. What is the width? I know style 5's fit and are super sunk still. They're 17x8 et20

Those will definitely fit! An I know my rims would fit your car, they're only z 1/2" smaller all around. :3. I mean, they came off an E46!

But yeah, those will fit, no worries!

Jeff is correct, e46 330's require 17" wheels. The stock 330 brakes are slightly larger than that of an e36 M3. Not to mention, 16's look silly on an e46 :P
