Anyone have some euro h1 connectors? I need them ASAP and will pay! They're not available at the stealer are they? If you check out my iX daily driver thread you'll see I've got all sorts of issues with my wiring. I could use a hand and am off the next two days(tuesday&wednesday). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Will buy beer, wings, hookers, if helped!

Coming from a guy that bought a beater E36, and attempted to make it nice, The advice I have for you is get something with a clean body, or at least clean enough that it doesnt need professional help. I spent like 1800 on body work on mine, and granted, now it looks darn nice but I could of had a sweet wheel and suspension setup for that instead. I have owned a M44 ti. Coming from a 240 hp Prelude, and a 280 hp 540i, I began to dread climbing in the thing. Also, people will tell you that the ti is a nice commuter car. That was not my experience. No good gear for highway, I thrashed the thing just to get around. If you havent driven one, do so. I think you will quickly cross it off your list after also having driven a 325/328. If I could play the E36 game over again, I would get a 328ic with a hardtop. The hardtop look on the vert is sick and there is no reason a person couldnt drive it that way in winter. Maybe not with the hardtop, but you could get a 328ic for around 5k. you could also get a moderately sad 95 M3.

Snyperx said: UPDATE: After researching on AutoGeek and a couple of other sites it would seem that the Collinite #845 Insulator Wax is a really good wax for us folks in the Snow Belt. I purchased a 16 0z. bottle form ebay for $16 with free shipping. According to what I read it has been around for ages and pro shops of been using it forever. Now on to find a cleaner/polish. [image: Posted Image] I'll check that wax out. good work on the research! Other waxes I've had good luck with are P21s and Zymol as some higher priced options that last a long time. Otherwise good old Gliptone stays around for awhile. I usually wash, clay bar, light cut, buff, paint seal (Teflon), then wax which has been Zymol lately. Then just spray wax the car on a regular basis if it's just dusty to maintain the wax. If it's really dirty I'll wash it but try not to do that. Then wax it again on a monthly basis. I might be anal...

if you want to retain the bmw heart, def do s50 swap, if you want more power for less money, theres better options. im personally considering a boosted m20 stroker.

Interesting. I wiped them down last night using Meguiar's Leather Cleaner and Conditioning spray. I also posted my question on Bimmer Forums and got a different answer. Someone on there stated that most e9x's came with leatherette and not leather. Leather was a $1900 option. In my mind my seats do not seem to feel like leather. I wish I had the original window sticker from the car to see what options it had. The dealer also stated it had the sport package which it does not being it doesn't have the sports seats or the 17" rims. Kinda feel like I got took by the dealer (big surprise, I always seemed to get screwed when I buy a car).

So, the dealership sold the car before I could get there.. Sad day. But on the bright side I can just buy a starter and save up some more money for a nicer car.

I'm sure they have worked out the HPFP issues for the 1M. I would hope so anyways.
