Very cool! Nice that they are expanding while most pulled back their programs. Hopefully others will follow.

Good point, things are crazy right now.  I've driven by a few dealers that had actually spread out the cars to make the lot look fuller than it was. I just go back to the last time I tried to trade this thing in three or four years ago.  Nobody wanted to touch it because of the manual trans and rwd.  Two dealers flat out said I would be better selling it myself and weren't even going to make a trade offer and one offered me $1200 (and this was at least three years ago when it only had like 150k on).

retoropak said: Hello, I am trying to figure out sway bar setup for my e21. I have e36 front suspension sway and e28 rear but stock e28 rear bar is not ideal because the bump in the middle to clear e28 diff mount and e36  front has too much hanging below the frame rails.    Looking at the pictures it seems that e30 might be a good match.    Could someone please measure their front and rear sway bars for me? I am looking for the arm lenght and width between the arms. Also if there is a part of the bar that hangs lower than the arms it would be nice to know how much lower it is. Thank You I can take a look tomorrow for you if I remember.

Yeah I settled on automatic thinking it would be nice for traffic (which it is) but I don't end up in traffic often haha. I am looking to sell it sometime in the near future, and the lack of rust on things out here is awesome.  Sport 128i's that are manual seem to be quite tricky to come across! I do really enjoy the chassis though.

Its the only thing that has kept Chrysler relevant. I’d even love a Singer 911 type modern tribute of a 2002 or E30.

Tempted to run back down there and ask the guy if I can pull a wheel to check to specs or markings just for giggles. I’m really intrigued by these, even if they are fake I’d like to know more about them. Also gives me a chance to see what lowering springs and suspension work it has... Make sure to take a Aluminum magnet to check the material.

I always pored over the BavAuto catalogs, there was always a page dedicated to each model.  I have tons of their posters.  I liked them because they were just modified or sometimes even stock cars that are attainable to the average "Joe".

I have to say that I really don’t mind it for promotional items, I never really loved the look of the 3D logo they’ve been using on their stuff for the past two decades, it’s come to look more and more dated IMO. As long as the vehicle logos don’t change, I’m good with it.  However, I’d very much like it if they’d cut the whole  “promotes openness and clarity” thing. Yeesh.
