You can look into Hands-On Garage. They rent out lift bays by the minute, but I figure if you have a lot of work to get done that they can work out a deal. Worth a look into.

I'll second Lake Country, I've had work on both of my cars and a few friends have as well with good results. He's usually pretty booked but does solid work and will do custom alignments with you in the car if you would like.

3/8" 12pt wrench will hold the torx head bolts on the trans side, just get it in place and let it hit the bell housing to keep the bolt from turning and you will be able to remove the nuts from the engine side.

Thanks for the offer, both of space and a hand. Between work and other obligations though I expect this may take longer than a week. As long as I am not dismantling it I may be able to park it in the driveway. I've been thinking though it would be nice to have access to shop space for this and related projects especially once winter rolls in.

I may be down to rent a spot in the Milwaukee area if anyone wants so go in on a place.

Yea any driveshaft shop should be able to do it it's very standard and not very difficult. But lengthening..

Yea that is what I use for BMW's but this one has been nice when I have helped people look for other cars where a vin decoder isn't as readily available or in-depth.  Jaguar comes to mind as particularly difficult.

I have a Snap on Mt2500 scanner and have the ability to scan and clear OBD1 and OBD2 lights and codes just as a shop can. I would like to become a more frequent member on this forum, as well as helping to make it better, even if it is something as small as this.
