Crap! If the weather clears up before, I actually have to wash my car!

Contemplating it. Would be my first event to meet everyone at. I don't see too many other E38 guys here on the forum.

Greetings. I'm in Cedarburg too. I'm cruising around in a black on black 740il.
I'm not an engineer, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I wish I had known, though my wife is driving the 740il right now. Would have been nice to meet you guys.
Please post pics if you have them.

I should be more specific. The LED readout for the dual zone climate control is what is doing this, not the physical buttons.

Hey guys,
I've been noticing a strange thing on my 740il. When I run my A/C, the lighting on my heater control dims and gets brighter. This goes on as long as I run the A/C. If I switch to any other mode, the lighting brightness stays the same.
Am I possibly looking at a failing heater controller?

Here is a quick pic from this afternoon. I have had the car since December, but it needs a major cleanup! It even cane with the standard issue inside out hood dents from the fan.
Only thing right now that sets it apart would be the LED angel eyes. Other than that, it's pretty plain looking. No rust (it spent some time in Florida for several years), pretty clean.

Hello everyone. My name is Dave and I live in Cedarburg. I'm currently driving an E38 with just over 210k on it. Thus isn't my first BMW. I had an E39 several years back.
I spotted a WiBimmers plate on a car in Grafton yesterday that was parked in the lot across from the Milwaukee Ale House (black 3 series with a roof rack), so I decided to check the site out.
