87' E30 vert build thread! Now with M50 Swap!!!Welcome to the e30 game!
I like the vents on the front quarters of the car, make it look exactly like an e46 m3

Official Randomness ThreadAnybody know who owns a black (*diamondschwarz* spelling?) e30 on the eastside on TR Motorsports? Saw it around Belleview and Lake when I was running this morning.

I just put some cash towards some facebook ads, targeting people in wisconsin who said they "liked" BMW. We'll see how that goes. If it seems to help, maybe I'll throw some more money towards it.
Any other ideas are welcome. I'm looking at getting some cards made, maybe a flyer downloaded that you can print out, that would be easier/cheeper to do.
Cool idea, I hope it works out... I think a lot awareness is still going to come from guys active on r3v, e30tech, bimmerforums, bmwcca, and whatever making sure that we're reaching out to all of the WI members on each site. I joined up after I got my invite to e30midwest...

Nothing special about it in any way other than the hartge parts collection (so to speak) on it.
I just wish it had the hartge dead pedal and headers.
As for the rust on the bronzit. It has the typical rust on the drain in the passenger and drivers footwell, along with the battery tray. It's far from awful, but getting those pieces is a bit difficult when your a broke ass college student. I'd love to fix it, and it wouldn't be that difficult at all. It's just a lot of time, and money I don't really have.
I feel your pain, what school do you go to?
-
Bimmers in Wisconsin Official Photos ThreadNice Hartge e30! I'm sure you'll make a ton off of parts, but why not restore it? You don't see those around every day.
And nice bronzit collection. If the rust can't be seen from those pics, it can't be that bad

E30 seat help!Yeah you can do it. I've seen it done before, its just a bit weird with the seat adjustments next to the console. There's probably a writeup on r3v or e30tech about it...

Add an iX section? We will gather information and dump it in there. I have a few good links for iX stuff. Plus Alex and I can do pictorials of procedures as we are both iX'ing. How about that?
I'm not sure we have enough IX's for that, there's only 4 or 5 here. E30tech has a good IX subforum, though.

91 325ix I helped my little sister buy. Basically-I wanted it, and needed a reason to buy it. She loves it, other than all the small issues it has...
What suspension is that on? It looks good, too good to be stock

I'd be willing to bet that with the 205s and drop hats in front, you'd be happy with how it looked!
Agreed. And drop hats are worth a shot, they're pretty cheap. I heard something about e90 15mm drop hats being a perfect fit, FullBanana has them on his car (I think...) and his setup looks pretty good.
As for cutting springs, there's a 1/2 coil out of my H&R (ix) sports, and it looks better and rides good, but I can't speak for everyone who has cut their springs.
-
Dirty Delphin Progression ThreadWhy "no" to cutting springs? I'm sure there's a few useless coils in there

Well... Installed the new rims tires today, 205 45 16 all around. What I've determined so far is that I need to be at least 1.5" lower up in front

+1 for more lows up from, but it sits pretty nicely considering that late models always have a negative rake look about them
