I have a unexpected pending sale of my Volvo wagon (someone approached me, car was not for sale) and I may need a replacement vehicle in a hurry, so I thought I might ask here. Anyone have anything good they would be willing to part with?
Looking for AWD wagons or SUVs. I wouldnt want any BMW that is newer, nothing with a N motor. I need a semblance of reliability and/or ease of repair. No Subarus. Volvo good. Toyota good. I have a bunch of possibilities in my head on a suitable replacement, but time may dictate I can't make a long-winded search.
Looking to spend around 10k.
Thanks!

I have nothing to sell, but best of luck on the search! My only input is that I’ve always been intrigued with the TSX wagons, but your AWD requirement probably puts them out of the running.
I’m curious to see what you end up with, it’s a similar list of criteria to what I’d like to eventually replace the E34 with.

Thanks - agreed TSX wagons look nice, sad that no Mazda cars have AWD.
as far as the criteria, what I ended up with last time, with this same criteria, was the volvo. I thought about getting another one, just auto, but the idea of redoing all of my mods and going through the process of buying/selling to end at the same place seems like it would be an annoyance, instead of a fun process.

aaaand i just went to check my messages from the pending sale, and the guy is backing out.

well, i guess the search goes on, just without the urgency.
