Hey, new member but also an E39 owner in the Milwaukee/Shorewood area.

Welcome! Is your Name Matt, or Mott? If it's Matt Power(s?) That'd be rad. Cause I think of this everytime I see your name:largeMattPowers2.jpg

Haha, no it's Mott, like the applesauce but not in any way related.

BTW: Had to replace my front bumper not too long ago because of a small accident (under body fastener got caught on concrete lip when I was backing out of my garage) and the lower portion is ripped off.  No holes and can be fiberglassed/plastic welded together if anyone is interested.  Will also have the rear available soon if you want an M5 package.

Good looking car Mott, love the color! Out of curiosity, are the 550i wheels machined to fit the e39 hub bore or just reps?

Thanks!  No hub boring at all; they're by a company called Alzor who seems to be a new replica manufacturer.  ECS had a big sale on them last December so I picked up a set for cheap for the winter.  I was afraid it would look a little odd but I almost like it better than my LM rep's to be honest.

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall, torque is how far you take the wall with you.

                    I have an e39.  It's a 2001 540i/6 and it's FS.

                        New 5er. I used to have an e34 but recently got into a 1999 540I 6 speed.

                        E39 540i/6 "Relaxed Aggression"

Still in the naming process. Considering "the hammer" - Mjolnir as a nickname.

                        Msg for name suggestions!
