well today i finished painting the drive shaft i picked up,the subframe,trailing arms, sway bar,etc.

i finally get to use the solid subrame mounts i machined almost a year ago. replaced all the bushings and wheel bearings in all these parts. bushings  have also been sitting for about a year now too.

all the time, btw, what were you shoes made out of that they melted when gas hit them? salt?

today i think im going to possibly start welding. i have a big hole in the metal ripped out where the subframe mounts up to the body.

Started a little welding and just picked yup some sheet metal and square stock.

well here is the trunk well forgot to take some pictures but whatever

i cut the spare tire stud out and had to cover the hole. so i went and got a piece of sheet metal and im going to weld a flat 18x18 square on the floor.

tomorrow i will weld it in place.

i only started a couple of fires today!!!

welded the plate in the trunk today. then i welded my rear subframe stud back where it is supposed to be and reenforced the other 3 while i was at it. welder isn't working right for some reason. hoping it will make it until i can get a new one:/ i cleaned and polished the cap and ring for the fuel cell also.
