Def not a gun nut, but I've owned a couple handguns before. Glock 17 and a Beretta 92F, both were used very sparingly, typically to shoot at raccoons and possums.. I've been looking at picking up an H&K USP 45 though..

HK makes good stuff, some of the ergonomics may take some getting used to. Obviously try before you buy, if you can.

haha yeah, I shot at targets too. The handguns were just more fun than the shotgun for shooting small animals..

I've only held the H&K, never actually shot one..
