I hate to get all political, but you can thank Susan Collins and what congress did in 2003 for the USPS mess.

@wasnt m3 Hooked it up with an M wallet. (Preparing me for M ownership?)

A sweet personalized BMW keychain with my user name on the back.

And 2 vintage E36 mags. I definitely enjoyed looking though these. Going to have a lot of pages to scan and digitize.

Opened up my box this morning to find one of @B C's famous christmas renditions

Do you Hear What I Hear?

Said the girl friend of the 5er driver,
do you see what I see?
Right there on the dash, 5er driver,
do you see what I see?
A light, a light, flashing in the night
With a noise that gives you a fright
With a noise that gives you a fright

Said the brother of the 5er driver,
do you hear what I hear?
Clanking from the front, both could hear,
Yes I hear what you hear
A knock, a knock, coming from the block
You have got to be kidding me please
You have got to be kidding me please

Said the 5-er driver to his brother,
do you know what I know?
In your drain pan there's a shiny thing,
do you know what I know?
It's wild, it's wild the filter's not that old
But the drain pan is all filled with gold
But the drain pan is all filled with gold

Said Blackstone to the 5er driver,
              Listen to what I say
Pray for luck, because we think you're fucked,
              There is copper every**-where!**
              There is copper every**-where!**

The oil, the oil, it really isn't right
That five twenty Is much much too light
That five twenty is much much too light

Enclosed was a Official BMW safety vest kit for when I inevitably get stranded by German reliablility and some hot sauce! Thanks Brian!

For scale the roundel looks to be the size for a hood emblem.

I was secretly hoping to cause some domestic conflict w/ whether this wood or wood not be allowed to to be hung up, but you having a shop took a little of the fun out of it.

Regardless, it's always fun to use the cnc at work for projects where tolerances don't matter.

The key part is soft maple and the handle is "Peruvian Walnut", where "Peruvian" means imported and "Walnut" means brown; aka imported brown wood.

Got a box just before Christmas but didn't open until after I got back in town as I didn't have my gift totally squared away yet. Opened it up and found a really awesome promotional poster for the first 318i (the other side has tons of cool info and pictures), an original sales brochure for the E91 (space gray one on the cover too!), and an 8 foot wide BMW Motorsport banner that will look excellent hanging in my garage! Thanks a ton @YoungCR!!!

I held off on opening my gift until I delivered mine, but I finally got to open it today. Got a handy Milwaukee pick set, some really sweet (and mint) dealer sales brochures for the e30 and e34, and of course, stroopwafels. Thanks @m42b32!

The brochures are nice, but a good set set of picks is super nice to have around too. Definitely a tool that you wouldn't necessarily think to buy, but comes in handy more often than you would guess.

The brochures are nice, but a good set set of picks is super nice to have around too. Definitely a tool that you wouldn't necessarily think to buy, but comes in handy more often than you would guess.

Agreed, picks are the unsung heroes of diy maintenance. Stick a magnet on it and you can use it to pick up small bolts and nuts too. My old set has most of the tips broken off by now so this was perfect timing.

I held off on opening my gift until I delivered mine, but I finally got to open it today. Got a handy Milwaukee pick set, some really sweet (and mint) dealer sales brochures for the e30 and e34, and of course, stroopwafels. Thanks @m42b32!

You're welcome! Glad you like it! I was trying to think of the most useful tool I always forget about and a nice set of picks is definitely the answer. I picked (heh) up the same set of those Milwaukee ones not too long ago and they're amazing, have yet to damage one unlike my old craftsman set that have been destroyed, enjoy!
