I bought a scratch and dent box from Extreme Tools. http://www.extremetools.net/ Other than the very lame name and badge, they are REALLY high quality. The biggest difference between Sanp-on/matco etc and Husky/home depot etc is the strength of the drawers and the depth of the box. Extreme Tools offers the strength and the proper depth sizes at a reasonable price.

They are awesome. Super deep drawers strong enough you can stand in them.

my fiance bought me a sweet little Husky box, 42x18 with a work surface. Seems super solid and its a perfect size for my small garage. I've only put my wrenches and sockets in it, but i already feel spoiled because I've been working out of a pile of small tool boxes/tool bags my whole life.

Absolutely worth it, it’ll have resale value and last longer than what you can buy in the big box store. That’s list price on a harbor freight 44”, sale is usually $443. Plus that's easy enough to move around with you.
I’m working out of a Harbor Freight series 1 tool cart for the basics right now since I sold my Milwaukee 46” before moving. I’d maxed that out but I don’t wanna buy a new box until I have a garage but I’m ocd about not having tools organized
Im temped to pull the trigger on a 71-73" box.Farm and Fleet carries the same Extreme Tools box I believe, it's similar to the Montezuma/MasterForce box at Menards.

Turns out it's only a year old and it msrps for 2900. Going to make room in the garage and have him deliver it this weekend.

I have like 2.7 pieces of shit roughly setup next to each other that I use to keep my tools in. Think all together I paid like $17 for them. A new tool box would be sweet but ehhhhhhhhh

I'm starting to update my tool box from a mix of HF and the newer not so great craftsman to blue point/williams. I don't want to pay snap on prices but want something a little nicer than HF.
I'm very happy with my Williams 3/8 deep and shallow 6pt sockets. Still need to buy 1/2 and 1/4 as well as impacts. ToolsDelivered.com has the best peices.
