Site ideas?

Anyone have any suggestions for the site in general?

I'm making a little list of changes I'd like to make once I can dedicate some time to the process. Is there anything anyone would like? Any ideas for features or ideas to drive more traffic our way?

maybe make the portal page (wibimmers.com) more of a welcome page. like, hey did someone give you a card for the site? heres what the site is, has, blah blah blah. so and so just got help with a headlight problem on his e30.... etc

somehow grab them instead of just coming into a forum

"trusted shops" might be a handy thing to have it wont be handy until someone is in a jam but I know that there are only 5 shops that i would even think to take a car if i was having unsurmountable problems.

i vote we have a section for sharing porn videos :shifty

srsly. it would be nice to divide up the tech section into subsections, like 3 series, 5 series, etc. then create subforums like e30, e36, e46, etc. kinda like bimmerfest. i know its a complete rip off but it works well

I'm not sure the site is big enough for that yet, there's be many lonely sections like that.

Plus, with it all bunched together kind of allows everyone to be "involved" with their projects/questions etc..

I agree with Ryan, not enough posts yet, plus its just more menus to dig through. A good way to organize posts though would be to have threads prefixes with the chassis codes
