Back from the dead or something.

Carpets out, sparco installed! Got most of the stereo and airbag wiring out as well. I'll be trying to get a few additional things done before the E30 picnic so you guys can see some progress.
My garage will be coming along as well, my landlord buried the conduit to run power for my equipment. So HOPEFULLY he runs it this week. @wasnt m3 is hooking me up with some old cabinets so I can build out a nicely organized space for getting this S52 out of the M3 chassis and into the compact.

I've gotta give big ups to Condor Speed Shop for hooking it up. Just put in my first big order of suspension parts, and they were super helpful every step of the way. I highly recommend them not only for awesome parts but some of the best customer service.
Pictures of my big box of goodies soon!

Condom Motorsports is always a safe bet
The biggest issue with them is you loose a lot of feel with their product.

This is why I have 3 kids.

So been super busy (work, got married, helping other people work on stuff), but got a couple small things done on the compact.
Removed sunroof, deleted 3rd brake light, deleted rear wiper, eliminated remaining trim pieces inside the car.
Ideally the next big update will involve a rear subframe assembly being reinforced and having condor goodies added, but we will see.

Assuming there was a mechanical failure, this is the universe’s way of telling you to get on with the swap already
Indeed there was a failure. Car suddenly pinned the temp needle. I'm assuming catastrophic head gasket failure. All during my morning commute.
The swap is scheduled for this long weekend. Anyone wanna come up to port Washington and help?

Day 1 progress. Purchased the definitive ti swap guide for prep. Got a little wrench time in and removed the core support and other crap in front of the engine. Then, I went over by @The Full Banana and stole @gilber33 engine hoist. Then I got sleepy. Tomorrow is day 2 of the solo S52 swap (that is unless someone wants to give me a hand.)

Why still in Port? I thought you moved to dirty stallis.
No room in stallis for a swappy job. Hopefully the weather remains fair, because it's all out doors.

Day 2 progress. Completely removed the M44, trans, and driveshaft all the way back to the diff. Some cleaning and various part removal left on the compact chassis. So far I'm about 6hrs into the swap. If anyone needs any parts from either vehicle, please buy them asap so I can get this thing finished!
