Motion Products Inc/Restoration ...a well known Ferrari restoration shop in the prancing horse world ,yea I wake up and play with some of the worlds most sought after Ferrari’s ever made ,and vintage European cars including some oddballs we have never heard of ,we do everything there ,some of theseĀ cars have thousands and thousands of time put into them to bring them back to original time where you can’t just make a call and find a part ,it doesn’t exist .,anywhere from the queen of England car to yourĀ local business mans boy toy..we take care of these cars very well ,.I loveĀ my job, I don’t want to brag much but keeps my love/hate relationship withĀ Ā bmw’s alive and well that’s fsur .!

I’m not allowed to to take pictures at work,so I’ll share some fromĀ the show we semi trailered 13 Ferrari’sĀ to .most these cars the general public would never see ,they rarely move let alone be driven and keep stored away and hiddenĀ

        enjoy enjoy šŸ¤®šŸ¤‘šŸ¤ÆšŸ˜³

cool pics. non-red F40's look great! (especially white).
There are a few Ferraris that I absolutely love but its hard for me to love Ferrari as a company. They babysit and tweak their cars when journalists and testers have them, are too exclusive on who can own certain models, on the really hot models you get to pay an exorbitant amount of money for the "client-test driver" program and cant even keep the car at your own mansion, and they nail lawsuits on their own customers when they "desecrate" them such as Deadmau5's nyan-cat livery, and a wrecked 360 that was made into a limo. Very cool that you get to work around this stuff though.

Looking forward to seeing your custom airbox!

Your struggle with the rear inlet reminds me of doing mine. What a pain in the ass.

Looks like you're enjoying typical N54 mods/maintenance! Cool Ferrari stuff too, I've heard good things about Motion.

So again I had time to tear into the car a little bit been running very well and I’m sooper impressed with everything so far unfortunately tho my gDanm a/c has a leak now between the condenser somewhere and maybe the lines idk excactly yet so I’m tearing into that I went ahead and ordered a new condenser/w/dryer almost positive it’s cracked rite there...,along the way I also decided it’s a perfect time to start modifiying a custom cold air inlet system out if some other pipes I’ve been saving for a project just like this one, very excited!Ā ,once I mark it,cut it all up and route it, I have a buddy from work who has very good skills in metal I plan to have him finishĀ up along with the resonator delete to x/pipe conversion with mandrel bent downpipes ...I’ll keep ya posted, can’t wait šŸ˜†

Ah, you're in my old hometown. I still remember when you could rent Neo-Geo from Tri-Star... The Mexican food there is better than the old video rental place ever was though.

Edit: just noticed the pick of the e34 with the ladder on the roof. I remember seeing that car around before I moved a few years ago. Why were you always hauling ladders around?

Yea I used to do construction for years as a sub then work on car/bmws for side jobs and fun after ...untill I realized it was actually more enjoyableĀ to me working on cars then I gave that all up and picked up a job with a local bmw friend at a transmission shop ,now I work on and take care of some of the rarest and most sought after cars ever madešŸ˜‚šŸ¤ÆšŸ˜³ not just Ferrari’s ..

well I stayed up last nite to start making my colder air relocation inlets even tho the ones from mmp are cute and all I still prefer them boxed off of colder air so this is what I came up with so far I think it will work ,I’ll have to still notch out the front pipe to turboĀ to connect to the other pipe basically like a Ypipe inside the bay and yea IĀ decide to trash out some plastics on the very front wich were kindof just in the way for me ,tho I’ll still have to make the fender liner itself fit properly ..should be almost plug and play when I’m done !

265s, put them in the front. Interested to see how the pipe looks all welded up. Now you won't have to run the quad double double deep intercooler theĀ n54ish guys are running.Ā

I would say make a jig for the pipe and sell them but the stuff you got rid of wouldn't be considered plug and play for the home gamers.

                                        keep it up

With some finagling I was able to make this one work for now ..I think I mite end up changing it again cause I was in a hurry like usual but it’s a start and my first mock up so will see results ..ontoĀ getting my dang a/c condenser out so I can replace that now..so onĀ my way to get my condenser I stopped at the stealer to get a couple orings for the lines to condenser,Ā 12$ for 2 orings and a plastic fill cap wich was less than the rings themselves..is why I could never actually afford to buy a brand new car but dam anyway..,Well here’s a few more picsĀ of the first ā€˜mockupĀ and a couple pics from the dealer that caught my attention driving outĀ
