I'm down for driving from the Madison area.

My shop is on the east side and is always an option as a gathering spot if that sounds like a good idea to anyone else? I would say arrive between 8:30-9am and we can head out at 9am.

I'm planning on being there in a BMW of some sort... I've got maybe 4 or 5 miles on the e21 since re-assembly. Will hopefully have everything mostly safe and road-legal next weekend so I can put some shakedown miles on it. Next choice would be the compact. If that breaks down, I still have the e34, but the reg-o is expired...

Currently the plan would be to roll down with the Appleton crew (if there is one...) and then meet up with the MKE crew for the final cruise to the meet.

Edit: If there's anyone else that's interested in meeting up in Appleton for the cruise down, let me know. Our shop is right off 41(close to a Kwik Trip, and 3 miles away from e85) so it's as good a meeting place as any...

Thanks for the tag. Gonna miss this year due to another trip. We should do something in June in Madison.

Anyone else plan on heading down from the Central Wisconsin/Fox Valley area? We’ll be shooting over from Waupaca... We had a good crew last year!

I did put a few more miles on my car. 90% sure it will make it there and back, and if not, it will be a good story.

Still thinking I will be going. Anybody recommend any hotels, garages, spare rooms or hallways that have good reviews that I can keep on standby if I dont feel like driving home the same day?  4 hours there 4 hours back is a pain in the butt. Especially when I have to get up and going at 5am

He asked for hotel recommendations around Waukesha and suggested at least getting a head start on the trip home before crashing and that nobody would mind if he slept on top of/inside Earl's black ti at your shop. Other honorable suggestions are in Chris' semi, in a waterslide at the Dells, or at a frat house at UW. Those are all places I think I could get a high quality nap in.

Well in that case, I have no problem strapping a mattress to the roof of the E36. I cant be held responsible if you wake up in the phuture though.
