I will show up for food and to hang out, but I won't be karting. I also won't be there by 6 as I've got some things in Madison that I'll be driving back from at the end of the day.

Possibilities for reschedule? How would people feel about a saturday/sunday morning and then lunch? Plus it might be less busy/definitely less traffic to get there

That works better for me with kids. Evening events are hard to get away. Probably less busy too.
