Steelblue E36 Build Thread
-
So fellas I bought my first car. It's a 1999 323is.
I bought it from the ORGINAL OWNER!
Came with window sticker and a bunch of service manuals.
Whole suspension was replaced. Needs nothing but a seat belt buckle because an airbag light is on. Has 180k
I plan on replacing headlights, clear corners and such. Possibly m3 front bumper and definitely wheels.

Love the color!
So this is your first car ever?
Yep im 16. I have been driving a Saturn for awhile and it became boring really quickly.
I come from a BMW family. My Mom has a 2006 X3 my Dad has a 2001 330ci and my older brother (The guy who referred me to the fourm a few yrs ago) has an e30 convertible with an M50 swap and an e30 coupe. (My challenge is to find him).
I was looking for a 328is but this one owner car poped up for a good deal so I bought it.

Looks like an awesome buy. I love that blue Minnesota car?
I bought it from a guy in St.Paul. I live in Menomonie WI. There is around a small fist size of rust on the drivers rear wheel well. Thats the only rust. It will be fixed very soon.

I'm in EC, we need more BMW people from this area on the forum.
Nice e36 btw

Oh Sick! and Yeah looks like is just about you and I lmao

Nice car! Get that rust fixed quick, if the e36 has one giant glaring weakness it's their affinity for absorbing salt and rusting away. I understand why you want new wheels but I've always loved those sport wheels.

Nice! Lame username BTW.

Yeah yours is pretty unoriginal... Think a little bit before you register next time!

I was thinking of some Style 37s. They look semi similar to the stock ones.
But I am also really surprised how good of condition the stock wheels are.

Congrats on your first car! Looks like a keeper, always enjoy seeing a clean e36
Thanks man! Now it just needs a certain sticker!
