I love the interior, those sills are pretty different!

And I really like those RS’s stepped, I’d say go for it. I’d imagine that they’d sell for a lot more if you ever got rid of them if they were stepped and cleaned up a bit.

I actually really like the 16's, with the right stance and some meaty tires they could look awesome

16" is the way to go.  Too big doesn't look quite right on old cars in my opinion.

I don't mind 18's on e24's but 17's are the perfect size to me. 16's just always look a hair small and oddly they look smaller when you lower the car.

                  17's for comparison to above=)

The massive slant lips don't help make the 18's look any smaller. These Kinesis are 18's but don't quite look as large.

Might as well throw in a picture of how small 16's look too. Ignore the miles of wheel gap lol

so i'm thinking m70 twin turbo would fit nicely under the hood.

                          You stop that.

                          But I like your idea......

But for consistency sake, I would probably put something non-BMW in there.

That steering wheel looks oddly similar to an 80s bikini bottom.

Picked up the Style 5's this weekend and test fit them. The tires are way too small and completely destroyed. I plan on refinishing them while the RS's stay on the car. Then once they are refinished I will swap them out and refinish the RS's

                                IMG6797.JPGIMG6798.JPG

I also ordered the last of the front suspension parts last week from FCP and went to install them this weekend.

I got everything apart, go the new control arms in, but noticed the Tie rods were slightly different.... Yup totally an inch too long on either side. I assume its e12 stuff and I will be contacting FCP today to get that situated. Ughhh SO close 😕

                                IMG6795.JPGIMG6796.JPG

I also ordered exhaust piping for replacing the muffler that was rotted out, that has yet to show up so I haven't been able to cross that off quite yet.

                                Parts to order / find

You should add some 50mm spacers to that list too:lol:

I know @m42b32 It was sad. I had a battery in there, and I needed it for another car I bought, and when I removed it, the long bolt snapped halfway out. Really annoying because now I have to figure out a new means of securing the battery.

I get a little scared every time I need to take one of those out, its such a long/thin bolt!
