I saw that last night.  I didn't know about rotary valves until I saw that, it's awesome!

Satisfying to see it work, frustrating to see that its not being pursued further to remedy the smoking.

I wouldnt be surprised if he was able to see a 15% increase in power from the retrofit due to reductions in flow losses and mechanical drag

And then loose that 15% from all the extra belts, pulleys, and craziness needed to rotate the valves...
