Anyone running JOM coilovers or Vogtland Junior Cup kit?
-
I would like about 1-1.5 drop, better handling, yet comfortable for my clients. I would get those but I'm afraid they will be too bouncy. I would take a ride for some rokkors or racelands if someone has those as well so I can see those.

I'm just gonna chime in and remind you that you get what you pay for. None of the cheap coilovers are serviceable. So when the cheap shocks are worn out, you're gonna be shopping for new coilovers. I would personally never run any of these and recommend that you save for something decent. In the end, it's your car do what you want.

The Vogtland's are known for good quality, and the JOM's are like $500 or something from ECS Tuning, which is where I was going to buy them from until I saw the group buy for $360 shipped. I understand that, and I do believe that as well. That's the main resean I'm trying to stay away from racelands and rokkors

I got mine because who the fuck really cares?

As I understamd, JOM coilovers are supposted to be similar to stock ride quality, but height adjustable. I'm hoping they are only slightly stiffer than stock/ like stock. A little stiffer for better handing, ability to lower to close my wheel gap, and maintaining a halfway decent ride quality.
-
They are much stiffer, and then I threw ST Sways in.
-
how do you think they would compare to a matched strut spring combo? How do you like them?
-
if you're staying away from racelands, better stay away from jom because i heard they are just rebranded racelands.
-
Aren't racelands made in china and joms made in germany?
-
apparently they are made in the same factory.. maybe they are rebranded in germany?
-
I'm thinking Vogtlands will be better. Found out the vogtlands have a 10 year limited warranty vs the joms have a 2 yrs limited warranty
-
why not just buy Bav auto springs they ride very close to stock and lower the car a decent amount then when you have some more cash pick up some good shocks(koni SA)
-
Im getting towards needing new shocks and struts. So those need replacement, I would like to lower it a little, would prefer something matched, and trying to get something decent while staying between $350-450. Just getting spring right now won't help my worn shocks. In fact it'll make them complete garbage even faster.
