i forgot to post this back when I took it.

here is where my workstation is right now. those are finish samples on the shelves (commercial interior design firm).  its an 'open office' and i get moved about frequently by my boss who rearranges the entire place every few months. i'm in the back area now, which is nice, less distractions and only sharing the space with one other person.

How do you like the open office concept?

Forgot to add these. When I'm not at work, this is my other "workspace".

Pretty bland right now, but hopefully I'll find the time to actually stain and bolt down the desk top. After that, hang up some BMW photos/memorabilia and paint a wall or two. I just moved in a few months ago, so things are slowly coming together.

Got the desk idea from these images:

i'd say it would be bad if you worked in an office where people are on the phone all the time. generally its pretty quiet so I dont mind.

it is a little annoying to work in an open office where your boss is in the same space, though.

Single monitor guy here.  Curved 30something widescreen.  I do cad stuff and can't do the 2 screen thing.

Interesting. I do CAD and 3d modeling stuff and can't do it without 2 screens.

But you are much better at cad than me.  Plus when you pull in that sweet bass at a local competition, it makes the heart melt.

I'm totally impressed.  I've actually found that most people are better at cad than me.

Not sure what the new models are but I bought 2 Dell S2340m's new for $130 each 2 years ago. Dell makes good IPS monitor for cheap.

I use this as my main monitor and I love it. For the price you really can not beat it. I purchased it last year for $130, now considering buying another after checking the price again.

I did a thing... 32x90 with lots more available space, including show room and office area/reception area, climate controlled, lots of 220 and even 3 phase.

Finishing wiring up the lift tonight! Lots more to come, just started moving In.

When my evo build is finished, I will be officially opening up the doors for public business. Starting with fabrication, engine rebuilds, custom machining, small runs of production fabrication, Standalone installs and custom wiring harness', tuning(ONLY IF I BUILT/MODIFIED THE CAR), and of course maintenance and other upkeep on performance oriented vehicles. Specializing in all things forced induction. Just very excited for this journey, and I plan to pour my heart and soul into building quality vehicles for more than just myself now.
