My name is Earl, and I have a Stainless Steel bolt fetish =)

I have been trying to figure out what these are. Looks like a suspension part but I am not sure.
I see,

The UUC Bushings/Enforcer cups and AKG front subframe reinforcement kit have arrrived. The UUC Bushings are slightly falsely advertised. They are a very dark tranparent blue, almost black. The picture shows them as being a solid Cerulean color. They appear to be very stiff so I am thinking they are correct besides color.
I have decided to stay non ///M for front brakes at the moment. I can't seem to justify the extra $100 for rotors and the $150-$200 to source a set of spindles and calipers. If the brakes feel like they should be upgraded when the car is done, I will just do the swap then.
My door handles have been shipped and are on the way as well. I can't seem to get the seller to give me part numbers off of the handles themselves to make sure they're legit. He said he shipped them before reading my message and apologizes. I told him if they are fakes that I will be going through PayPal to get a part of the money refunded as stock handles engraved by someone are not worth what I paid. We will hope they are real=)

He knew better unfortunately. I found out after I won them that the guy has sold a few pair of counterfeit handles. He has sold genuine ones though, which kept me hopefull.
I really wanted them to be real so that I had genuine motorsport handles. That's the only reason I sprung for them=) I have an addiction for rare parts.

How much more work do you have to do to get this badboy on the road?

And you did it one-handed too!
Nice work

My buddy Kyle has a good amount of fabrication to do in the bay and a few holes on the body need to be shaved yet. Other than that I need to reundercoat the front wheel wells, paint front knuckles, paint all calipers, install all of the front suspension, replace rear wheel bearings, reroute the front air lines, extend the headlight harness, route the connectors for the fusebox delete under the dash, run air lines for/and wire in air gauges, install air tank/wire management/complete trunk setup, run cable for battery relocation, fit front edges of rear bumper to the now pulled fenders, bend rear brake lines, install timing chain on the m42 (need to order a few more stainless socket head bolts) and finish assembling motor. Other than that the car needs finished bodywork and paint.

So next weekend probably.
cool!
I wish I could spend just 5 minutes in the shop to do something=( This whole hand thing really has me upset. I want to just get my motor together at least.

just think how hard shaving would be.....you know, if you shaved...
I tried shaving somewhere and that didn't work too well. TMI you say? lol

Happy 2014. Hand is healing and should be good to go early February

I placed an order for what I believe are the remaining stainless bolts to finish off the outside of the m42. They will arrive for pickup on Friday. I am hoping to get to the shop Sunday to swap my rear wheels out to keep them from flat spotting. I didn't really think about that until now. I am hoping to get some slow progress here shortly=)
