A man named John with a black LS swapped E30.

      Seems familiar.

(cuts in rudely and doesn't allow OP to answer)

It was brought downtown to the MSOE campus to donate it to an E30 owner that attends there, but they couldn't locate him as he was a hermit in some dark corner completing a lab report so he scrapped it.

That or he sold it to someone slightly north of FDL and slightly south of Appleville

          pick one

Option 1 sounds about right (at least the second part).

            sigh.

The management died on the car and i didn't have the time, energy and money to buy a new management system. I had an opportunity to get some cash for it so i took it.  Fast forward a few years later i had enough cash to start an LS swap.

update, so i bought an LS1 with a T56 on the internet. It is out of an 04 GTO. I then got rid of all the stuff i don't need and i decided to replace the clutch right away.

Next thing i did was mock up the motor and trans. I spent a lot of time hammering out the trans tunnel. I think it would've been easier to just cut it out and build a new one.

Got my radiator and oil cooler mounted. I also got the oil lines finished and installed.

The car is starting to look like a car now. Front went back on and after three years I'm surprised i had all the bolts to get it back together.

I had a buddy come over to start on the custom headers for the swap. I went with 1.75" headers. Drivers side pictured below.

Wiring harness showed up and is installed. The headers are about 95 percent. The cup on my buddies torch broke and he wasn't able to finish the headers. I also brought out my inner ricer and painted my valve covers. All that's left is hoses, intake and a coolant reservoir and a bunch of misc stuff to button up. Parts have been ordered. Its going to be a long push on friday to get all the loose ends finished. The car starts up on saturday maybe even driving.
