Welcome.  You actually got a 2 point ticket for the tint??  Hmmm.....I've been given warnings and fix-it tickets a few times for my 20%, but never a point ticket.

I was pulled over by a state trooper on 41 around Appleton area and got a warning for no front plate, 7mph over the limit, too dark tint, too low, and illegal exhaust.  The officer was very nice.....but still wrote up everything possible.

Yeah, it was about 3 years ago in menomonee falls. I pulled it off, went to the police station and showed them to get the points and ticket revoked, then re-tinted, lol.

Looks like I won't be removing my front plate. The two main holes I can get plugs for but there's not much I can do about the rest. The small ones are not even drilled all the way through. The whole area is covered in a clear bra so I wouldn't even be able to touch up the small holes. Oh well I guess.

Only the two big holes are used for the plate bracket. Don't know what the deal with the other ones is. It's like they started drilling but stopped right away.

Sometimes there are alignment pins on the back of the bracket and if they screw it on tight those will dig in too.

Had the same thing on my old Mk3, the "half-drilled" holes were from some idiot using too long of screws in the license plate holes.
