I was doing a burnout in my E30 and the pulley from my power steering pump came out of my pump. I have an m20 power steering pump so I'm wondering if that would work for a replacement For the m50 pump. Im also thinking of buying a smaller belt and deleting the pump. Does anyone know what size belt I should get to just delete the pump?

Use a string around the pulleys. Then buy a menards tape measure and measure it.

He already has a power steering delete installed on the rack but the pump is still on the block being ran while dry IIRC.

Won't it seize if he was running it dry? Or am I just under the impression that they use the fluid to lubricate the pump.

              ...
