It's October. Holy crap.
I'll be constructing the special edition grill this weekend for the cooking of brats. Pics to come soon.
What's on the menu? Beer brats, home made kraut supplied by my lovely girlfriend's Dad, condiments for the brats, chips (variety), and BEER.
First come first served folks. When I'm out, I'm out. Still tallying up the RSVP's x 1.5 to get a solid number and will be picking up supplies on the 17th.
Oh, I still need to talk to some people about the cruise route. If you'd like to share your thoughts and do a shake down prior to the meet, this Saturday would be a great time to do so, as I have the day off. I'm posting this at work, so I will try to google map out my planned route and post it on here to get some opinions. Ideally a few guys would come out to the shop and help me plan this in person, so if you're bored this Saturday, feel free to hit me up.
Like I stated before, Aaron @ Quantum Performance WILL NOT be able to dyno cars this weekend because of his participation in a Chump Car race. Sorry guys. Editing first post to reflect this.
That's all I can think of for now, if you have any ideas, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM/Text/Call/Email/Smoke signal/Morse code. I don't care if I don't know you personally, every opinion offered will be considered.

RSVP (will be bringing 4-6 people with me)
No beer for me (and probably 3 of the people I bring)
If you need me to bring an extra grill or two. I can.

No need for a grill. I'm building a custom mega grill specifically for this event.

I'm down. My original plan was to hit the hilly/curvy part of 67 on the way to way to Road America, the take a jaunt to the west to hit Scott road(county s), Ridge Road and Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive, but I'm down for whatever.

Sounds like fun. How much longer time wise will this route make the trip?
-
not sure really. probably a half hour to an hour. it's not too far out of the way, but there's lots of turns and stop signs so it takes longer. getting lost or stopping for pictures adds time too, but that's just part of the fun.
Sounds good to me. Im sure the other guys driving down with me will be down for this also. When and where should we meet you?
-
The gas station across from the street from the Darboy Club on the corner of KK and N is probably a good place. Google is telling me the straight drive from Darboy is 1hr 35 min so maybe meetup at 9am? I'm totally flexible on the time, so whatever works for you guys is fine with me.

Where is this in relation to where we'er coming in from 10 to 41 from Stevens Point
-
as you're coming into appleton on 10 you keep going straight at the 41 interchange and you'll be on the 441 bypass east. just stay on that a few miles until you get the KK exit (calumet st). then take KK straight to the intersection with N. it's a couple miles from the highway, but it's a straight shot. the Darboy club is on the right side right on the corner. i'll PM you my cell number, feel free to get in touch.

Ok. Im meeting up with a friend in appleton also. He said he knows where its at

Looks like the weather is going to be great for this event. The bimmer gods have smiled upon us.
