I don't see any issues with this. To be honest there aren't any good cruise roads around here for spirited driving. You have to head out towards West Bend / Kettle Moraine Scenic / Elkhart Lake. That's great and all but it does require a good amount of time and we're starting late for that.

Lake venues for photos sound just fine.

We appear to have a lot of people coming so extended cruise routes are tougher unless we have walkie talkies. I've done larger group cruises like that before and when you have like 20-30 cars it's immensely more organized if people can get on walkie talkie channels to account for joggers/bikers/animals at the front and also if there are people falling behind.

Yeah.  It was so much easier when I lived near Holy Hill.  So many great roads in one area.

We'll be more organized next year.  Depending upon the success of this event, we may look into having it at a track for a track day/party.  I'd like to do something like the BMWCCA for Oktoberfest, but on a much smaller scale and only a one day event.

Im pretty excited though.  This should be a lot of fun.

If we could rent out blackhawk farms for an afternoon, id poop some pants.

I MIGHT have a hookup at BFR so include me if/when you make plans for that.

He's gotta check his Rolodex to see if he still has the guys home phone line.

I heard Snap once slapped a man with his white leather driving gloves while stating "The gas pedal is MOST CERTAINLY an on/off switch!"

Snap had never seen a computer before buying one to tune his E30. They named MegaSquirt after his reaction to the first data logging session.

Shortly after the creation of the automobile, one enthusiast insisted the automobile must be driven sideways at every oppurtunity. Other drivers questioned "What shall we call these maneuvers?".

From that day forward, it was known as "Snap Oversteer"...

I heard Snap has modified the linkages to the gas and brake pedals - so that no matter which pedal is pushed the throttle is opened.

BMW is collaborating with Snap on the creation of some new engine electronics. Starting in 2015 the TPS will forever be replaced with the "WOT" switch.

The problem is that now the Holy Hill roads are beat to shit, as of the past couple years. Many of them are straight up un-driveable now if you have a lowered car and suspension work. It's unbearable with how much these brutal winters have taken a toll on them.

I'm getting ahead of myself but I really like the track event thought. We did that with a group of guys for blackhawk this year and had a caravan of 10 people bring their cars to the track. There's a decent amount of prep that goes into it if we want to rent a track, though, specifically for our group. For example we are liable for anyone who spins out and damages tire walls. If we could get 30-40 people, then we could talk to one of the organizers like Jimmy Yu at GPS Tracktime who does a couple of events a year and see if we could partner with him for something.

                                          I'm spitballing at this point.

Fingers are still crossed that the weather is good on Saturday
