Good post. Like seeing it in the hands of tuners already. There have been some mixed reviews over in Europe. Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the new M3/4. I'm an M3 guy through and through, but I'm not sold on this one for some reason yet. Looking forward to seeing it in person.

With e30 prices these days im sure your cars has gotta be around $60k easy. Straight trade sounds reasonable.

I'm a M guy through and through also, I was not happy about them going to a turbocharged engine, but after seeing them perform at Road America a couple weeks ago and seeing these dyno numbers I'm all about this car now, I can't wait to see these cars on some apex wheels and conti slicks at track days

Such an incredible looking car, but it will take me a LONG time to get over the turbos.
Wouldn't it be nice if they could ignore the competition, the power wars, the tree huggers, and have just stuck in a jumped up version of the last M3 V8?
445 bhp, 8500 Redline, etc..
I just cant stop thinking about how you could take a base model 335i, get a tune, exhaust, intake, and probably be very near the M3's power output for significantly less money than the M3. No, it's still not an M car, but with BMW's marketing strategy nowadays you could add M cupholders from the catalog and get that fancy M badge slapped on the back straight from the dealer...
