    Awesome read, the noise from those engines is incredible.  It is amazing the amount of power they were getting from such a small engine.

      Oh totally. If I was able to get my hands on an M12 head for my car, I would die! The New York guy I got my original group 2 flares from actually raced group 2 e21's back in the day and had an M12 head. I tried my best to get him to give it up, but he wasn't budging and was getting it appraised. Lucky man! Lucky man!

                Neat article, I would think that if those parts are disposed of someday they would go to the bmwcca foundation for preservation.
