Need Help Sourcing A New Alternator

Anybody have a go-to shop or source for getting a new alternator? Sounds like I've got a bad bearing in mine and need to get a replacement this week. 

I'm located in Madison, but willing to travel to Milwaukee or further if needed.

If it is just a bad bearing I would get just that repaired, OE alternators are always better than parts store replacements.  Hopefully somebody over your way can recommend a good shop to do that.

Rockauto is a good place to find a Bosch alternator for a good price, usually they have better warranty's than other sites too.

I use RockAuto for most things. Ebay may have a remanufactured unit for a good price too. A used OEM one isn't a terrible thing either=)

Used parts are used parts. No point in having to do the job twice as it fails again down the road or worse leaves you on the side of the road. What year and model? I get parts discount through some suppliers. You would have to come to me to pick it up or if you wanted me to install it i would do that for extra cost
