I do not have much progress to update here.....

The Seta has been giving me shit...

    http://www.mye28.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=130905

I want the diff, motor and trans in this week.....nice weather :)

I did pick up some e34 heated comforts and side skirts

    post-3341-0-11500800-1421613747thumb.jp

    And a BBS rear valance

    post-3341-0-57714200-1421613875thumb.jp

I also found a front valance in hellrot (no pics)....I am going to paint that black and install. The front IS spoiler will cover it but black is better that red on a cosmos car. I will get it painted professionally when I do the skirts and rear valance.

    More to come......

I like that rear valance, is the exhaust cutout centered or offset? On Mike Ramsey's car we made the exhaust come out centered which was a bit tricky.

I looked center but I will check later this afternoon. If I remember correctly it looked modified a bit in that area. I will take some better pics too. Shame on me for not even cleaning it up a bit.

I figured that it would be offset, otherwise custom exhaust would be required which means no muffler because of how tight to the spare tire well it has to be.  Even being an inch from the tire well it has to have a slight offset to come out centered.

Just a few odds and ends :)

I am happy I am going forward. Not at the rate I wanted but still forward.

                        After I clean up the snow I am going to put it up on stands and start putting things back. I am not sure but I may need to source a later style rear sway bar and still need the exhaust repaired. ;

I should have my e39 by next Saturday and hope to make it out to the races.

It has been a while since I have posted an update.

Due to issues beyond my control I have not spent too much time on the e28 for way too long.

I just finished recovering from a knee injury that kept me from doing anything for three weeks and just sprained my ankle! Just can’t win here.

During the brake and clutch bleeding process I discovered I have a hard line leaking at the rear of the car, just above the diff. I just got new line and unions. When I bought the shell the rear trailing arms were left on the car. They were tied up but during the move one of them ended up dragging on the ground and breaking the line.

I miss driving my E28 and have to get things going here. I am not far away from having a driving car! It will not be finished but will be drivable.

Once I can move it around I want to fit the rear valance and side skirts. It will be then when I decide to paint them or sell them. I did set the rear valance in place just to get an idea and I really liked how it changed the look at the rear of the car. I think the skirts will pull it all together. We shall see.

                          Until next time……

                          Happy Bimmering

Slow but sure.....Have not spent very much time at all on it. Way too many other things I have had to do. I will have it going before snow one way or another. It's under a cover and very comfortable for the time being.
