i cannot describe how much better that looks. I had never actually seen a side-by-side comparison, but that just solidifies why I have the BMS lights for my car. Looks great

Thanks for the side by side, looks great.

Nice! They look super bright! That's on my to do list.

Huge improvement. I feel like it makes the car look much newer.

Glad you guys like them as much as I do. They're really f*cking bright!
Here is where I got them: http://www.luxangeleyes.com/products/lux-h8-160

Some of you might have seen the for sale thread, but I picked up an awesome wagon this weekend!
2005 325xit with 133k. 5-speed, all-wheel drive, sport package, cold weather package, lowered on Bilsteins and H&R springs with an extra set of winter wheels/tires.
Tons of maintenance reciepts, original window sticker, only owned by 2 enthusiasts. Really happy with it.
With that said, the 1-series will be put away for the winter. If anyone needs a set of e82 wheels with brand new snow tires, let me know.

...and no, I didn't paint checkers on my hood. That's the reflection from the garage ceiling.

Congrats! Glad things worked out with the wagon.
Me too! Your friend seemed like a good guy, the car is exactly what I hoped for.

Yes, Great guy and also an excellent driver on track!

Seemed that way. He said he's taken the wagon out to Blackhawk a few times. There are quite a few receipts for brakes and brake fluid...

I've been having a blast this winter with the touring!

So apparently I suck at updating this thread.
Exciting news! I bought Precision Raceworks inlets, VRSF 7" intercooler, VRSF charge pipe and a TIAL blow off valve. I scored a deal on a pair of 265/35 Michelin Pilot Super Sports back in October from Discount Tire Direct for $384 shipped. Hoping to hit 525wtq on stock turbos and I hope I can put it to the ground

I'm especially excited about the inlets, but I also bought some Stoptech drilled/slotted rotors and pads. Got some Motul brake fluid to do a complete flush as well. I plan on painting the calipers gold but we will see.
I also bought and installed new injectors (index 12), coils, and plugs a few weeks ago. Pretty sure I had a leaky injector, but this should keep all the misfires away. It's basically maintenance on an N54. This is what $1,000 on a stainless steel table looks like.

Which injectors did you get? The OEM or Standard Motor Products?

I got them from RockAuto. They came with genuine BMW boxes and logos stamped on them.

I've got the stop tech pads and noticed a great difference over stock pads. The bite is great on them! What kind of gains are guys seeing with the inlets on stock turbos?

Nice, I'm looking forward to them. I've never had drilled/slotted rotors before and I heard they make a big difference
Inlets have been shown to gain up to 40-50 whp and wtq. Can't wait!
-
You'll notice a greater difference from a good pad than a drilled and slotted rotor. The drilled and slotted sure do look great though!
-
sofa king awesome. I will be curious to know if you feel like you need to go bigger turbo after this upgrade. I feel like 500 hp is about the limit I'd want for anything i took on the street in the n54/n55 platform.
