E30 clock

This might sound like a stupid question, but, does anyone know if the power plug in U.S. E30s works on the Euro-style analog clock? I'm pretty sure they do, as these clocks swapped directly in the E34's I had in Germany, but, I know there are differences between the European vs. U.S. cars. Just not sure if this is one of them. Been thinking of putting one in my car if I can find one for a reasonable price. I like the look, and you don't have to worry about the display pixelizing like you do when the digital ones get older.

They do, but you have to use the harness from the 6 button OBC. The harness for the 13 button OBC doesn't work. I had to swap to the simple harness to get mine to plug in.

OK. That sounds logical. The OBCs I had in my E34's in Germany were all 6 button, and it was a direct swap.
