Well - we're both gonna be waiting *alittle* longer.  The company apparently ran outta some components to finish the Kit I ordered.  So had the choice of waiting 3-4 weeks more, or step up to a slightly larger size.

Opted to go alittle larger in size.  It will theoretically mean less power in the short term - but long term (with more displacement and headwork) it's a better choice.

          *Should* be shipping shortly!

...I will now be spending the entire week clicking the "refresh" button on the tracking website...

              The wait must be excruciating

Are you starting on the install right away?

Yes it is - and yes I am!

Current "List of crap to do" in order:

-Get car on stands and replace oil pan.

-Remove ABS, brake hardlines in bay,  brake booster, etc... Install new MC and boosterless set-up.

-Install new goodies that should be arriving by end of week (hopefully!!)

Work starts tomorrow night - I already warned my wife that I'll be spending nights in the garage after kids go to bed till it's running!

FYI it could be like 2 weeks for it to clear customs, I just had a package from the motherland that took about 10 days to clear via USPS.

My hope is that because it's a "Priority Express" shipment that'll it get through in a timely fashion - only time will tell. 😭

                          USPS is absolute garbage.

Apparently "Ready for pick-up at Post Office" on their website tracking REALLY means "The package is at an off-site location that we didn't tell you about - that's only open from 9am-to-1pm daily - and we probably can't get it off the truck anymore to try and deliver tomorrow".  And when you present this information to the great-grandmother working the desk at the Post Office (that you waited 15 minutes in line to tak to) - they won't have the slightest idea what you're talking about (or likely what a "website" is).

                          Absolute garbage.

Hopefully my "Hold Request" goes through and my wife can pick it up Thursday on her lunch. 😡

I fucking despise USPS!  I ordered something next day from them only to find out that "next day" doesn't actually mean "next day".  I argued with 3 different people about this on the phone only to find out it was sitting in New Berlin while I lived in Greenfield BUT I was not allowed to drive to New Berlin to pick up my package from them.  I avoid them at all costs now.
