With the ZF I have the m3 rod in it now. If I hate the z3 I can swap it out. Or sell it.

It ended up being Sachs stuff (from gripforce)

Would of had the engine in today. But condor is taking their sweet time shipping parts. Currently awaiting the shift rebuild kit.
Trans fluid was changed, everything is on and torqued.
Interesting thing about the pilot bearing. The one we removed we used a home made puller out of some nuts and bolts. It came out eventually. The kit from gripforce sent two clutch alignment tools and two pilot bearings. The one on the left is what I removed, the one on the right is the one they sent that was smaller. (They also sent a correctly sized one) without paying attention we put in the incorrect pilot bearing (smaller one in the pic) and the puller wouldn't work on it because it was a smaller size. So I busted out two slices of bread, (BMW is super picky about what kind of bread you use in their engine blocks) Had to use split top wheat and remove the crust, Sara Lee is all I'll use for bearing removal, wonder bread is all BS) shoved it into the pilot hole and it popped out, cleaned out the cavity and put in the correct pilot.

I'm guessing it's just a general kit that they just throw in the two bearings and allignment tools so they don't have to guess which month/year used whatever size.
That's cool that the kit was Sachs parts, I'll probably buy that next time I need to do a clutch.

The pressure plate was. I think the clutch was LUK (?)
Flywheel was fidanza/fx racing or something or other. All I know is that it's not a 25lb dual mass boat anchor. This one was like 14/15lbs and a chromoly single mass

I had a couple buddies over and when I busted out some bread they looked at me like I was insane.
It worked really well haha!!

SSK from condor should get here today or tomorrow. Braided clutch line from blunt should be early next week or even this week. Radiator rubber feet & O2 sensor should be here early next week
Basically just have to order a driveshaft/csb/flex disc and I should be good to go.
-
Yep. That's the plan. Id rather do the clutch line and ssk when the stuff is out of the car
-
Still waiting for an O2 sensor and rubber radiator feet. Other than that, the motor is pretty much ready to go in! Once it's in I'll figure out the driveshaft crap
-
So you have the clutch/flywheel/trans bolted up?
Yuss

It happened

Not going anywhere

Solid mounts. I don't have any fillings yet, so I'm not too worried about vibration.

Cleaned up the carrier. Installed the new Delrin stuff from condor. Popped the z3 lever on. This thing is very tight and awesome. There's like zero slop. Zhp knob came in too.
Just need to hook all this crap up now

I'll have to break the clutch in. Was trying to plan a road trip somewhere

Looking great!
I took out my condor speed trans mounts and popped in some OEM e21 bushings. The trans vibrations/noise with the Condor's in there was annoying after awhile IMHO.

Thanks!!
I may end up going with e21 bushings. I figured I'd give these a try. I have yet to drive/ride in any vehicle that has been more uncomfortable/louder/have more vibration compared to the Supermoto I practically daily'd for 6 years.

Just remembered at like 2:30 am that I'll have to buy an EWS delete chip (may get one with a "tune" on it) just unsure who to buy it from as there are about 4+ vendors that seem to make them
